On December 8th, 2016, I had the opportunity to introduce the Stars of Hope USA to high school students at Ramaz in New York City with the goal of sending the art work to patients at Reuth Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Israel. This served two purposes, to bring together a group of students who were interested in helping those less fortunate and to introduce them to a new organization that meets those needs through art. Watching the students creating their stars was truly a remarkable experience. One can clearly see the joy on their faces as they created positive affirmations for victims of terror attacks, injured soldiers, the brain injured, developmentally disabled from birth or patients with eating disorders. The Hebrew translation for Reuth is friendship and what a blessing it was to see students here offering friendship and hope through the Stars!”
