- Connie Connors and Diana Wong who helped me to initiate the media campaign and tell the world that New Yorkers have not forgotten the spirit of giving following 9/11 and are still prepared to take action in order to honor that outpouring of generosity and love that forever changed America and brought us all much closer together.
- Molly Schneider, my sister-in-law, for helping to coordinate our west coast efforts and for putting up with a crazed brother-in-law more than anyone should ever have to.
- Rochelle Feder Hansen, my Mom and eternal "backstop." She's always been there for me for anything I've ever done.
- Kevin Potente, Rob Israel, Kevin Moore and so many other friends who have been personal inspirations to me. Each of them showed me the way that sometimes with a little creativity and lots of dedication, it is possible to make an impact on fellow human beings.
- And Hagay Shefi, my friend and mentor who perished on 9/11. He taught me to first and foremost, care for the children.
